A bit of mixed week - I have return from Doha, and well to be honest I'm feeling a bit down. I suppose I was thinking I would be at home in Dublin with a medal around my neck, unfortunately it was not to be. Instead I'm straight back into training. Got back to Loughborough on Monday and was out on the track with the group on Tuesday morning. I've got to just get on with things, and get back into the hard work.

Well, it didn't go to plan. I believed I could win and at least come away with a medal. I went into the World Championships as favorite, not many people can say that, and I was confident.

The first race of the year is always the most nerve-racking! And for me Birmingham was no exception. I was nervous but at the same time, I knew the nerves are a good thing and show you care. Also they help get me up for the battle and help raise my performance.

Hey!

For those who didnt see my race yesterday, view it here

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
